What's Buffale?

Buffale is a free daily word game about Buffalo, New York sports. Every day there's a new five-letter answer connected to the Bills, Sabres, UB or Braves — past or present — and you get five guesses to crack it. Tiles change color to tell you which letters you've got right. Miss three guesses and you can take a hint. Come back tomorrow for a new one.

How to play

  1. Guess the five-letter Buffalo sports answer in five tries.
  2. After each guess the tiles change color: right letter and right spot, right letter but wrong spot, or not in the answer at all.
  3. Stuck? After three wrong guesses a Hint button shows you the category.
  4. There's a new puzzle every day. Your stats and streak save to this device.
